This 2 Hour recorded webinar will provide participants with an introduction to understanding somatic interventions in the context of EMDR Therapy and the AIP Model.  Participants will be taught basic somatic skills and specific interventions with particular emphasis on the use of somatic interventions in phases 2 & 4.

Objectives: Participants will name at least 2 somatic intervention skills, Participants will understand how to use props for somatic interventions, Participants will name at least 1 somatic intervention for regulating arousal, building the therapeutic alliance and processing trauma each, Participants will understand how to respond to spontaneous somatic presentation by clients during reprocessing phases.
